TOP PINS | JANUARY 2015

I have been pinning like a woman possessed this month, which tends to happen when I feel like I need a change, but also when I am tired of a season and start dreaming about a new one. Spring is a particular favourite of mine, a sign of new beginnings and hope and, whilst it is still a fair way off, it doesn't stop me from scanning Pinterest for inspiration/escapism.

I have managed to pick out just four of my favourites from the hundreds I have squirreled away recently (believe me, you've had a lucky escape)...

One :: I have found myself scouring Pinterest for pictures of pretty flowers. They make me feel happy (I love having flowers in the house) but I am also trying to decide what flowers I want when Joe and I get married. Whatever they will be I will love them, but I want something very simple, something no-fuss. My current favourites are peonies but I adore a wide variety of spring flowers so I need to have a chat with a florist to try and get some guidance!

Two :: This picture is my dream working-from-home set up (well, if I were living in Paris, my actual dream home-office would over look a stunning beach in Cornwall). I cannot stop looking at this perfect space and imagining the fresh-air pouring in through the little balcony doors and taking time over a cup of tea and fresh croissants...

Three :: I have been living in shirts this month, they are so easy to throw on over leggings, a classic white t-shirt and warm, chunky socks whilst working at home or snuggling up to watch a film on a Saturday afternoon. This lovely outfit appealed to me on a comfort level; denim shirt, draw-string trousers and a white top; my perfect lounge wear.

Four :: Watch this (blogging) space for my attempt at this recipe. I am still looking around to find healthy alternatives to things and this looks like a great option instead of regular potatoes. Sweet potatoes are super-yummy and quinoa is something that I can eat that doesn't make me feel ridiculously bloated (sorry, too much?), so when I saw this simple sweet potato quinoa patties recipe I was a happy bunny - great idea.

If you want to follow me on Pinterest I would love it, so head on over there. Leave your account links below and I will check out your pins because I cannot get enough of that site, it's true!
