Loving, Needing, Meh! #32

This week I have been LOVING:
  • Getting my dressing taken off! Hoorah! I went to the physio yesterday and she whipped off my dressing and it felt SO good!! However, she did manipulate my collarbone about so much that it is swollen and sore this morning, but you can't have everything can you?!!! Also, when I got home I noticed a long, plastic thread sticking out of my skin... I almost yanked it out before realising that the skin had healed up all around it (that would've hurt!). So I chopped it off!
  • Tom Odell's album 'Long Way Down'. I have been 'umming' and 'arring' over buying this album for a while but saw it on iTunes for £4 and thought 'why not'. I really like it actually. It does have a tendency to make you feel a little sad (I have to crank on a bit of Metallica post listen) but it is really lovely, especially on the long drive home from work.
  • My new blendery thing (not sure what to call it - it chops stuff!). My mum picked it up for me after telling me about all the amazing things she does with hers. Yes, I am excited about a blender people. Don't worry, when I am not stuck at home anymore, life will pick up again!!
This week I have been NEEDING:
  • To get back to the gym. After several weeks of sitting about I am desperate to get back to training. I did think I would be there on cardio whilst this thing was healing, however, the pain has been so bad I could barely move! I am told that after another weeks rest I have permission to return and take it easy - apparently boxing is frowned upon though!
  • Spring. I really need spring in my life now. Before all this rain kicked in there was a moment, on Monday, that the sun was out, it was really bright and fresh outside and I had that spring feeling. I am starting to see my daffodils coming up in their pots and little green shoots appearing everywhere. Bring it on! It is like a new start and I cannot wait to see the light and feel the sun on my skin again.
This weeks 'MEH!':
  • There aren't really any 'Meh's' this week, which is a good thing I think! Other than the fact that I have been super clumsy this week - whenever I am in pain or struggling to do something I tend to drop things, knock things over and general make a right old mess - I think this is commonly known as 'sod's law'.
